PoE Trickster, League Starter, Melee builds without Power Siphon

Gearing notes: - Tincture: Lightning Pen and Melee Strike range. They're not terribly expensive, and my perfect rolled on cost me 1 div. I like to prioritize the range over the pen, because I like hitting monsters from the other side of rivers. Might be able strike range out for splash, or rage on hit, and get more damage, but then you'd probably be running different tinctures for different content, and I just want to be lazy. - Helm: Anything ES here. Crown of Thorns is a nice starter. Get resistance, get something better than what I have. - Weapon

Hey guys, I just wanted to make sure with experts that I understood everything correctly : I'm playing Frost Blades Trickster in SSF (leaguestarted it... it went how you can guess). However I got to farming T16, still getting slapped by Essences because for some reasons i have 159 armor etc but that not what this post is about. The idea is: freezing everything on screen is a defensive layer, probably very good in the Sanctum Frost Blades is getting a huge increase to added damage % so let's try to build around it. Ailments don't care about resistances on hit and whatnot, just base damage, so high added damage is good. Heatshiver gives up to 130% added cold damage as fire if we can freeze things. Hence Expedition's End for %as more damage freezes and Southbound + freeze duration stacking. This all means we can inflict 1 second freeze on Pinnacle bosses with attacks. Above is a rough day 1 plan for my LS Trickster. I'm going the full armor/ev route because it's easier to get eHP early on, especially vs phys damage, and it also allows me to grab 13 different masteries that synergize with the build. I know Heartstopper is a controversial node, but I feel like it will smooth out the damage I'm taking, even if I don't always notice it or run into some bad rng. Any advice? I realize Champion does armor/ev LS better probably, but I'm really looking forward to trying out Trickster.

Hey guys, i finally put together a POB for a lightning strike trickster. &x200B; This is my league starter ( hopefully) and what im trying to achieve gear wise in the first 10 days to 2 weeks ( depending on how much i can play). Im looking for ideas, suggestions, improvements. I'm not very good with POB, so i will appreciate any feedback. The idea is to scale this all league. PoB: So the idea is to go Trickster to make flicker free, and then to go MoM to take advantage of that defensively. I am doing this rather than Terminus Est Crit Flicker because I'm a hipster I guess? I've started every league since Breach with Oro's flicker, and I know it is quite solid for everything up to and including yellow maps, which is all I really need for a league starter anyway. Any suggestions for improving the build? Don't pay too much attention to the gear, I was mostly just playing around with the new "sort by dps"
