Just wrapping up 40/40 in Affliction SC today, so I figured I'd share and archive my league in case anyone was remotely curious. I opened with a Shield Charge Elementalist at league start (Very good build honestly, I just became disillusioned with not being able to do the league mechanic at T16 and so I was speedfarming T8-T10 Wisps in Strand/Glacier/Cemetery. This is my league starter Necro build for Affliction. I've been playing pretty much exclusively minion builds since Delve league. I've put together successfully, almost every SRS variation out there (I'm sure there's more variations that I haven't thought of, but every conversions at least - Fire/cold/light/chaos/phys/pop). EDIT 1: Prismatic burst doesn't work on spells, so ignore any mention of it. You can try to fit it on Shield Charge 4l, and RF 4l for mapping fast, and use Vaal Firestorm for any singletarget boofing EDIT 2: With Skin of the Lords, use Empower over Cruelty. Gearing notes: - Tincture: Lightning Pen and Melee Strike range. They're not terribly expensive, and my perfect rolled on cost me 1 div. I like to prioritize the range over the pen, because I like hitting monsters from the other side of rivers. Might be able strike range out for splash, or rage on hit, and get more damage, but then you'd probably be running different tinctures for different content, and I just want to be lazy. - Helm: Anything ES here. Crown of Thorns is a nice starter. Get resistance, get something better than what I have. - Weapon

This has been one of my favourite league starts ever. I forgot how smooth perm minions are to play, and the Kuduku spectres shock nova is basically screen wide with the 30% minion AoE mastery. There's obviously a ton of improvements and gear upgrades to make, this is just a rough SSF friendly week one target.
