Just wrapping up 40/40 in Affliction SC today, so I figured I'd share and archive my league in case anyone was remotely curious.
I opened with a Shield Charge Elementalist at league start (Very good build honestly, I just became disillusioned with not being able to do the league mechanic at T16 and so I was speedfarming T8-T10 Wisps in Strand/Glacier/Cemetery. Little did I know...) and quickly flipped over to a Triple CounterAttack Slayer, followed by a Facebreakers Reckoning Gladiator, and lastly a Bear Trap Ignite Chieftain. I think I got bacteria in my brain at Christmas or something.

Bear Trap Ignite Chieftain :: Teaser, TBD
Happy to field any questions or thoughts from anyone, otherwise just archiving in case some searches Bear Trap on google in 2 years from now. All I can say is; Don't do it. ;}
As for CounterAttacks, well... they're very close to being good. I'm very proud of both of these builds! The PoB looks amazing, but of course the real gameplay is severely lacking in QoL in most scenarios, so you have to cherry-pick your scenarios. Keep an eye out for particular changes to Duelist or specific uniques or behaviours in future patches. They're almost there. That said, the Affliction Charms offer an absolute ton of power, especially in the case of Gladiator getting to 99-100% max block, so it could be one step forward, one step back (much like the strength of Crucible trees for this build also was).
