PoE Lightning Tendrils builds

im still a noob so can a smarter person improve this? if u have the time in the upcoming patch notes lightning tendrils got buffed and guarantees crit every 3 pulses so i kinda want to combine it the new arcane surge ( grants cast speed instead of spell damage) so it's kinda easier now to proc Elemental overload it's a little clunky (2 buttons: hydropshere then lightning tendrils) and slow pob : (lightning tendrils and arcane surge is not updated yet in pob so dps might change) what u guys think?

Rough idea of the build, just the framework. I've had this idea for a couple leagues now, basically it's about how you can trigger Infusion for skills you are not actually channelling by triggering Infusion with for example Cyclone, while having a seperate Infusion setup with channelling skills of other damage tag types. The medium cluster notable "Rapid Infusion" gives 50% inc effect of Infusion, so for example from 10% more dmg of supported gems dmg type tag to 15%. With the 9 in the pob it becomes 55% more dmg for every damage

Thread link: Current minimum shock effect (w/o Inpulsa, just from the tree): 15% (1 + 1.25 (0.1 + 0.4 + 0.5)) = 33.75% For some reason PoB doesn't account for the 50% of the mastery on crit. Should be taken into account for the minimum effect from ascendancy node. Will have to confirm in-game. Hey Guys, I've been pleasantly surprised by lightning tendrils while leveling and I keep lightning tendrils in my shortlist as a league starter. Maybe you could look at my PoBs! One is life based, the second one is a far tankier CI version which should be my lategame transition. The life version has 1.5Mil DPS while the CI version has 2M DPS, both on modest gear requirements. The CI version has 120k max damage taken, the life version has a merely 12k. Let me know w

Untested Update for 3.18 - I have not tested the above PoB. It should be a dramatic improvement in survival as its converts a lot of ele to 90% chaos resistance (and also has 90% chaos resistance). It loses about 40% of the DPS from the original, but honestly, that hardly matters as it is still >40M DPS. This is also a slight overestimate as punishment would not be active all the time. Hi, in search of skills to use with Ashes of the Stars i have found Phantasmal Lightning Tendrils . This is not a build guide, just a FYI for players looking for infos on Lightning Tendrils after the selfcast buff. Since Lightning Tendrils forces you to stand still and be in melee range for a long time, I would recommend Inquisitor, which lets you get super beefy.
