Hello, I want to have some feedback about my SSFHC Elementalist build that I want to play, \~500k DPS FULL uptime with 0 investment (more with Flame Surge burning ground) Defensive layer (note that it's lvl 85) : 4k5 LIFE; 1k5 ES; 9k EVA; Ghost Dance; 3k8 mana MoM; Arcane Cloak and obviously the Chill.

It's 147% now. Ed: I bunged up, I just now realise the Catarina mod only affects Support Gem Quality. This is bad. Sadly this mean 140% Quality can only be reached with a double implicit synth item with unveiled Gem Quality from Haku. Makes the Catarina mod pretty useless tbh, I will revise my crafting now, I have to think a bit about this. Sadge. Yet another ed: Some Gems can still go up to 149% in total with everything perfect, it's just that the Active Skill Gem needs to also have the Support Gem Tag (Predator for example). This is what ive landed on thus far! big cast speed so im not locked in place for an eternity casting. MoM, agnostic and Acro/Phase Acro for defensive layers. Im very open to suggestions! sorta came to me while i was just sitting here. Pick away at the build!

Discharge changes from patch notes: Now has an added damage effectiveness of 450%. Now deals 56 to 203 base lightning damage per power charge removed at gem level 1, up to 394 to 1422 base lightning damage at gem level 20. Now deals 30% less damage with Ailments. Despite the 30% less damage from ignite, the added damage effectiveness seems to me like this will be the strongest skill for ignites. So I threw together a build with medium-budget items and it turns out to deal decent damage. Clearing might be a pain due to the cooldown and reliance on secondary spells for charges, though.

So discharge will receive a large damage buff, but will be on a cooldown. I'm thinking about ways to make self-casting Discharge work, and i've come up with some archetypes, although none of them feel 100% satisfying. First i thought of an Archmage build to make use of the fact that Discharge now is on a cooldown anyways, so handling the mana cost would be a lot easier.
