Discharge changes from patch notes:
-
Now has an added damage effectiveness of 450%.
-
Now deals 56 to 203 base lightning damage per power charge removed at gem level 1, up to 394 to 1422 base lightning damage at gem level 20.
-
Now deals 30% less damage with Ailments.
Despite the 30% less damage from ignite, the added damage effectiveness seems to me like this will be the strongest skill for ignites. So I threw together a build with medium-budget items and it turns out to deal decent damage.
Clearing might be a pain due to the cooldown and reliance on secondary spells for charges, though. I'm also considering cyclone-cwc to get charges. Also considered Inya's Epiphany, but considering normal Discharge has a 2+s cooldown I think I will be able to get max power charges vs bosses and at least 1 power charge while clearing.
Any suggestions to improve on this?

Edit2: Got a recommendation to do normal Discharge, so here it is (22M dmg per pop)
