PoE Frostblink, Travel builds

!Not a serious build! Just experimenting with Poet's Pen and Frostblink of Wintery Blast. This "build" was the first idea that came to mind when the skillgem info was released.Since Frostblink of Wintery blast has no cooldown, and no charges (but a hefty cast time with no "instant" use), it is really beneficial to trigger it. Whether it's traps (I saw Waggle experimenting with that) or Asenath's Chant, or simply Poet's Pen. While Asenath's Chant and Poet's Pen add a cooldown, we can reduce it in a few ways: 1. Haste watcher's eye - 40% 2. Boots - \~30% 3. Badge of the Brotherhood - from 70

383k x 9 = 3,447 kk per combo rune blast cost = 282 mana/s cost of 9 improved runes to +3 = 135 ~2 combos per second = 6,89 kk you wouldn't be able to get this combo perfectly, so i assume ~5-6kk dps is more realistic. potential upgrades/switches Forbidden Flame/Flesh combo that gives Arcane Blessing Watcher's Eye with Spell suppresion and inc damage to enemies on consecrated ground

Long story short, I lost a bet to a friend while we were on a bender, and being poe degenerates we are, the result was that I need to come up with a build, which is in a title (elementalist, with leap slam as a main skill, using ignite). Today, I present to you this abomination, a child, conceived in love and constant misery. I scrapped whatever gear and currency I could from my previous characters and here it is. Leap slam is a main clear tool, vaal smite/smite is used as a emergency damage button and dps bump for bosses; for the curses I use selfcast Flammability and Alchemist Mark-On-Hit.

This is the one build I played this league to 40/40. It was very fun and definitely kept me playing when I was on the fence. The PoB is of my current character. Typically I get to a point where it's "enough" to cruise through challenges and I stop prioritizing build investment, so I'm pretty confident it has room for improvement as-is (e.g. helmet w/-chaos res, watcher's eye, faster ignites synth staff, +3 corrupted chest), and definitely has room for improvement if you want to go more glass cannon. I've been running Frostblink Ignite this league, using Dissolution of the Flesh. I've done some testing this weekend, and wanted to make a note of a couple of cool features of the jewel. POB: 1) Petrified Blood caps you at low life, and converts a portion of damage you take from hits into life loss over time. This life loss over time is not itself damage, and it turns out that PB's damage modifier happens before Dissolution's.
