PoE Bladefall builds

I have been trying to figure out if I want to make another character to try the self-chill berserker. I decided I wanted to try to make the build a spellcaster. It plays like BFBB, but with the insane movement and action speed from self-chill berserker. - 5k life, 2k ES and good damage w. block and duo-regen is the current strongpoints of the build. - It is a bit expensive with 6-link impulsa, but should make insane clearing with both Herald of Ash and shock proliferation. PoB: Exsanguinate + Arcanist Brand From what I saw, Exsanguinate doesn't seem like an amazing spell to self-cast. Spell Totems seem like the obvious solution, but I think Arcanist Brands will provide the smoothest playstyle. Exsanguinate doesn't seem to suffer from its downsides (a lot). Question: Is the DoT debuff affected by the damage reduction from Arcanist Brand? I can see it going both ways depending on how one interprets the wording. If not, this could turn out godly. I was messing around in Ritual SSF for a fresh start and found [[Ngamahu's Flame]]. With decent damage, 60% phys to fire conversion and 20% fire pen, it seemed like a good fit for a phys spell battlemage build. In trying to figure out how to also take advantage of the axe's 20% chance to trigger Molten Burst, I discovered that it can trigger Cast on Crit.
