Hello everyone, This is my first time coming up with a starter build, so please excuse any newbie mistakes. Lightning Conduit caught my eye and I figured I'd try building something around it. My idea is to use storm brand with chains and overcharge for spreading shocks, combined with Inpulsa for better clear. Will have to check whether shock spread is more useful than chain. On bosses, chain will be replaced by culling strike. Agnerod should be a decent starting point for a staff. Later on, I'll switch to a better rare staff and maybe a 6-link for Storm Brand, instead of Thunderfist. Tryin

Hey guys, I'm asking for some ideas/critique/help with my possible Lighting Tendies starter for 3.17 Some highlights of the build: Defenses: 20k+ armour, Petrified Blood, 2,1k Elemental Aegis, Reflect Immune, 1k ES, 5k+ Health, Corrupted Blood Immunity, Shock Immune, Reduced effect on chill and ignite (50%+) Life Recovery: 400 hp regen, 1k hp leech, 50% damage taken recouped as life, 3% life recovered on kill 1,3m current dps, should be around 3m dps with Phantasmal gem in 3.17. I've put together a quite well rounded Lightning Tendrils build, got some passable defenses and regeneration as well as pretty acceptable damage with 2x6 links (Tendrils + Orb of Storms). I've put in 60% more multiplier in the general config which is a pretty conservative estimate on what the damage will be in this league. With the removal of the Orb of Storms internal CD and the sick buff to the main skill I think this can work out quite well. The gear is not terribly expensive (other than 6L) and playtested the concept it zooms pretty hard on lightning warp

Okay so I'm not really enjoying this league. I don't like the meta builds they don't appeal to me so I went into the lab to try to come up with some horrible amalgamation of two of my favorite skills: Herald of Thunder and Crackling Lance. My issue with CL has always been having to stand still in order to put out damage when the game, at times, seems to force you to move constantly. My issue with HoT has been that it doesn't clear consistently. Well... they seem to cover up each others shortcomings so why not try to smash them together.
