Thread link: Current minimum shock effect (w/o Inpulsa, just from the tree): 15% (1 + 1.25 (0.1 + 0.4 + 0.5)) = 33.75% For some reason PoB doesn't account for the 50% of the mastery on crit. Should be taken into account for the minimum effect from ascendancy node. Will have to confirm in-game. Hey Guys, I've been pleasantly surprised by lightning tendrils while leveling and I keep lightning tendrils in my shortlist as a league starter. Maybe you could look at my PoBs! One is life based, the second one is a far tankier CI version which should be my lategame transition. The life version has 1.5Mil DPS while the CI version has 2M DPS, both on modest gear requirements. The CI version has 120k max damage taken, the life version has a merely 12k. Let me know w

Untested Update for 3.18 - I have not tested the above PoB. It should be a dramatic improvement in survival as its converts a lot of ele to 90% chaos resistance (and also has 90% chaos resistance). It loses about 40% of the DPS from the original, but honestly, that hardly matters as it is still >40M DPS. This is also a slight overestimate as punishment would not be active all the time. Hi, in search of skills to use with Ashes of the Stars i have found Phantasmal Lightning Tendrils . This is not a build guide, just a FYI for players looking for infos on Lightning Tendrils after the selfcast buff. Since Lightning Tendrils forces you to stand still and be in melee range for a long time, I would recommend Inquisitor, which lets you get super beefy. Just now I reached level 95 and killed most endgame bosses (missing maven and uber elder). The Idea was to use Phantasmal Lightning Tendrils and scaling crit, cast speed and tankyness via golem effect. Hey guys, I'm asking for some ideas/critique/help with my possible Lighting Tendies starter for 3.17 Some highlights of the build: Defenses: 20k+ armour, Petrified Blood, 2,1k Elemental Aegis, Reflect Immune, 1k ES, 5k+ Health, Corrupted Blood Immunity, Shock Immune, Reduced effect on chill and ignite (50%+) Life Recovery: 400 hp regen, 1k hp leech, 50% damage taken recouped as life, 3% life recovered on kill 1,3m current dps, should be around 3m dps with Phantasmal gem in 3.17. I've put together a quite well rounded Lightning Tendrils build, got some passable defenses and regeneration as well as pretty acceptable damage with 2x6 links (Tendrils + Orb of Storms). I've put in 60% more multiplier in the general config which is a pretty conservative estimate on what the damage will be in this league. With the removal of the Orb of Storms internal CD and the sick buff to the main skill I think this can work out quite well.
