Hey there! Rolled a Phantasmal creamtion necromancer and i have been loving farming blight ravaged maps and simulacrums for a few weeks. However after browsing POE ninja for inspiration i noticed that there is a ton of different variations of combinations of support gems people link with Phantasmal cremation. That made me wonder, what is the point of supporting cremation, as i assume most of its damage comes from the corps explosions? and what are the most "meta" combinations of support to use with cremation, not using original sin? I thought i was fairly capped for endgame content but I can't do past Wave 20 simul, uber atziri (oneshot by every ability...), ubers, Feared, and die once in a while in juiced t16s. Did a 80% deli but 100% is out of reach. Oneshot every 5 seconds in rank500 tota (lucky I'm finished with all tota challenges for the league). Any advice on where to go from here with 40~ divs? Crafting Convoking wand (min ilvl 60) Spam Harvest speed reforge until you get +1 minions and an open suffix for trigger craft. Alternatively Alt + Augment spam until you get +1 and speed, can also try to regal if you get +1 and a random suffix. Only a proof-of concept as I had a previously leveled witch. I haven't played a self-chill build before so I did some reading of possible builds. I know that people usually do it with Lightning/molten strike for attacks or spark for spells. I have another combo I want to try this with: Hydrosphere Vortex. The idea is to use vortex on m1 which should clear trash but also inflict a freeze/brittle on Hydro. Hydro has a bunch of extra levels + crit so should be good enough for map bosses/guardians.
