PoE Perfect Agony, Melee builds

Im currently using a Doppleganger Guise but am considering switching to a Cloak of FLame, but cant figure out whether its worth it or not. Dopplegangers Guise: 60 phys max hit, 350 ele max hit and 280 chaos max hit. (life% regen is dead because of Vaal pact.) Cloak of Flame: 80 phys max hit, 250 ele max hit, 170 chaos max hit. Both of these are with molten shell on, without it the phys max hit is 30k : 40k. Id like your guys' opninion on whether the increase in phys max hit is WORTH the decrease in the ele and chaos max hit. Most of the time when I die I FEEL like its because of phys hits

stacking flask effect with tattoos so im 100% phys dmg taken as ele, convert phys to ele to chaos with original sin, then stack +proj (with nimis). trying deep delving atm (almost 600) surviving 300+ trauma stacks but nothing lives long enough to go higher. tried tanking uber maven memory game (with immortal call) and took like 700 dmg. potential upgrades are mageblood 3 flask with skill duration along with double implicit dawnbreaker to cap phys dmg taken as ele

Here is the PoB: The Bv and Spectral helix are there to represent backups, I know the tree isn't correct for BV but it's easy to readjust it for that. I'm planning on starting out as spectral helix till I can get a redeemer chest with frenzy on hit. I purposefully put some of the configs a little lower because I think it will reflect a more accurate reality than perfect conditions. I was looking at Echoforge, and with the Shaper of Flames node + Blackflame I am feeling some potential with Shock + Ignites + Poison + Profane bloom. Chose Viper strike as its the only attack that poisons and works with a sword. This is not a complete build or anything of the sort, just theorycrafting. If anyone else has good ideas that might help this work I'd love to hear it! :) I imagine we probably want Withering step and chaos resistance curses so I picked up +1 curse on the tree as well. The idea is: freezing everything on screen is a defensive layer, probably very good in the Sanctum Frost Blades is getting a huge increase to added damage % so let's try to build around it. Ailments don't care about resistances on hit and whatnot, just base damage, so high added damage is good. Heatshiver gives up to 130% added cold damage as fire if we can freeze things. Hence Expedition's End for %as more damage freezes and Southbound + freeze duration stacking. This all means we can inflict 1 second freeze on Pinnacle bosses with attacks. So this is not a build showcase, it's a work in progress, I'm looking for feedback on how to make the character more powerful without heavy investment - I'm a casual player so I can sink a few more divines in at most. Basically the idea is to do the Snakebite/Frenzy stacking thing, but go crit poison because Emperor's Vigilance, Seething Fury give a ton of extra crit multi, kind of like the Nightblade poison builds. I'm also getting a bunch of crit chance from self-blind with Second Sight Keystone, good synergy because you don't need a high dps weapon since your shield is doing all your damage
