PoE Ice Shot, Vaal Ice Shot builds

POB for the character being showcased: ~~POB for a general guide including leveling:~~ ~~ Updated guide with personal findings: Leveling was done using Rain of Arrows + Artillery Ballista. You can start using manaforge as early as level 8, but I wouldn't rely on it for damage until mana problems are solved with a Thief's Torment (minimum level 30). Early lifetap is NOT recommended. You can still use Frenzy

Actually played this as Lightning Arrow for the majority of the league. I saw another post on this subreddit using Heatshiver + Immortal Flesh and thought to myself wait, that's like 10x better than Voll's + random Stygian. Went from something like 100m LA + Artillery Ballista DPS to I think 140m, due to heatshiver. Interested in taking the build further, if anyone would like to take a look at my POB and point out any mistakes/gearing upgrades I can make. Kind of unsure how much the 50% inc effect of ailments mastery is helping me, for example.

The life is lacking, couldn't find a way to bump it higher. Dps-wise looking fine, i guess with such numbers it is possible to freeze non-ubers and maybe it will be benefitial to opt for heatshiver, but then we will need to figure out a proper way to cast hydrosphere and i'm lazy. It is hard to tell budget, but i guess it is possible to get everything for under 20div at the middle of first week. Possible a lot less if you selfcraft some parts. Feel free to suggest possible improvements, i'm not good at building)

Wanna try Ice shot, but couldn't find any builds. How trash is my first attempt at making a build? 1.3k hours and this is my first build.

hopefully heatshiver doesn't get a rarity increase. made this in like 1 hour and have no idea how to level it lol. you need the 3.21 tree pob

I built this because I wanted to build around fatal flourish and perma-freeze sanctum (Southbound is a little better for freeze and mapping, hotht gloves for dps bosses). I just gambled away most of my currency and failed my no-hit run to a degen that occurred after I killed the sanctum boss floor 2 :( after doing many flawless practice runs... so I'm kind of feeling done with the league but wanted to share.
