The basic tech here feels like it became popular with dissolution of the flesh builds. Getting 30% Life recoup and a 21/20 Petrified Blood basically voided 40% of the hit damage you took by counteracting and perfectly matching the life loss from damage taken over time effect with life recouped. If Progenesis stacks additively with the petrified blood, stacking enough recoup and flask effect can basically give you REALLY high amount of hit nullification.
