PoE Ball Lightning, Elementalist builds

Hey guys, been trying to throw together a ball lightning starter on elementalist. I've gotten defensives sorted pretty decently for what I'm planning on using it for. Curious if you guys know of anything I could use to amp up the damage a bit more without sacrificing defense aside from 6 link etc.

This was my build for Sanctum, but reading through the patch notes I see no HUGE reason why this build shouldn't work well in 3.21 (RIP arcane surge, as well as regain mana after every 5th cast and 3% of mana as es masteries). My goal for this league was to finally kill all 7 of the uber bosses and after playing a few characters i decided to put some currency in my leaguestarter: a Flame Wall Elementalist - and eventually succeeded with uber sirus being the last and definitely hardest one for me. The core concept is applying the dot effect of Flame Wall with Ball Lightnings shot through the wall, which allows for a very safe playstile, especially in Arena Type fights where you can just run around the edge and burn everything even off screen. I think I'd share my most successful build this league, which I actually started with. I had an absolute blast playing this build, so if some of you guys looking for inspiration maybe it's the one you need. I've done all content in the game including Awakener 8 The Feared and 100% Delirious maps (this one is not so comfortable, but doable). Simulacrums are cakewalks.
