PoE Ranger, SSF builds

I'm thinking about doing Toxic Rain, but I can see myself getting frustrated by the damage delay, so I was looking into Caustic Arrow as an alternative. Last league everyone was playing the transfigured version with the poison tincture, but since the tincture is gone it seems to be more complicated to play. Ive seen ben play the regular version ( but it's ben and I'm not sure if I can achieve this aswell. Anyone got experience with caustic arrow and how good it will be in 3.24?

If you like the detached mirage archer playstyle, take Occupying Force instead of Farshot in your 2nd lab and grab point blank while you're at it. The playstyle will be different but the damage will be similar. Do not take ricochet until you have enough power coming from your gear. Make sure you don't have any source of pierce when you go for ricochet. Flasks are really strong on this build and they are cheap to roll with alterations. Looking for some upgrades/improvements. Playing ssf and collected some gear which I threw together. Still have to craft some of the rare armour and jewellery but everything else is there (except the taste which I have to divine down to the correct %) Haven't played penance brand yet so I don't know if the dps is calculated correctly and how long the energy stays on for. Rage Hold: Just wanted to share the thing I managed to make with literally my last jewellery recombinator and a crusader's orb slam. It took a total of 15 divines for perfect rolls (1 for prefixes, 14 for suffixes) Finally got something worth using the mirror I found a year ago! And yes caster catalyst is around ~1% more dmg than crit catalyst for the planned build (not a completely ready plan yet but quite close) Hot take: SSF STD is the best dad gamer league

IMPORTANT FOR HARDCORE: Pick "Speaker of the Dead" on the tree and never run "map boss is possessed" on your maps. There's a ghost that disables your flasks and you don't want to meet that on this build, especially if you cap your resists using flasks.
