PoE Cold, Lightning, Spell builds

Forgot to tab but the map mods were more life + extra damage + monster resist + poison on hit + chilled ground iirc. It's a really short clip that doesn't do the build justice but I just wanted to show a proof of concept. Finished 36/40 challenges last week playing this build primarily (and another build to do Uber Atziri). Cleared all content, including The Feared after I found out the Atziri there has no reflect. Probably can't do 100% Delirium though, if that's what you want. - PoB.

So I had this wacky idea for an ignite build earlier, and to my surprise, the numbers actually seemed to work out. The template for my build was mathil's Divine Ire Ignite character. The idea behind the build was to map with Divine Ire and then blow up bosses with the charges you've generated, since the cooldown looks annoying but the base damage is huge. Because of the bonuses to Ignites, Charges, and Channeling, I started looking into Trickster. This is what led me to the main synergy behind this build: the combination of Stormfire and Hrimmburn. Discharge changes from patch notes: Now has an added damage effectiveness of 450%. Now deals 56 to 203 base lightning damage per power charge removed at gem level 1, up to 394 to 1422 base lightning damage at gem level 20. Now deals 30% less damage with Ailments. Despite the 30% less damage from ignite, the added damage effectiveness seems to me like this will be the strongest skill for ignites. So I threw together a build with medium-budget items and it turns out to deal decent damage. Clearing might be a pain due to the cooldown and reliance on secondary spells for charges, though.

So discharge will receive a large damage buff, but will be on a cooldown. I'm thinking about ways to make self-casting Discharge work, and i've come up with some archetypes, although none of them feel 100% satisfying. First i thought of an Archmage build to make use of the fact that Discharge now is on a cooldown anyways, so handling the mana cost would be a lot easier. Important Note: using frenzy as main wand attack = 100% change to gain a power charge. user power siphon as main wand attack = not 100% chance to gain a power charge.

So been doing a self cast discharge jugg for two leagues now as I love the playstyle but made it focused on a single big hit and burning with herald of ash \^^ But found that ignite is just so much more pleasant. So the main frame of the discharge jugg has been two kaom's way and scolds with a realmender. Scolds is a amazing addition as it hits me all the time. If I go ignite however I can get a eye of innocence instead freeing my helmet which is a more powerful piece. The build can run with flameblast, instead of a realmender you would get a searing touch.
