PoE 3.23 Affliction Cold, Duration builds without Mageblood, Necromancer, Original Sin

Use Brand Recall to force the secondary debuff from Wintertide Brand to activate faster. Cold Snap for single target. Swap to Devoto's Devotion for more movespeed (also lets you drop the dex node). Can also swap Malevolence for Haste. Sadly can't really use Petrified Blood, on paper it's more ehp than Discipline but Vaal Discipline is more useful imo. Leave out LL if you want to be tankier. I left out Defiance Banner for now because of reservation issues. Get the remaining few k evasion from ring or amulet prefix or higher rolls on flask and gear or something, Utmost Intellect is also very use

I like leaguestarting Cold DoT occultist, and been toying with this PoB since vortex rework. This will work up to some point, but damage is a bit lackluster for voidstone bosses. Would appreciate some ideas on how to scale, without losing much on defenses. (pob got budget and default options)

Hello, Looking for help with Vortex in SSFHC. Go easy on me this is my first self-made build. I primarily play SSFHC, and I'd like to make my own build from scratch this time. Most of my characters have died so far, and I'm hoping this one will be safer with chill/freeze effects. Gear equipped is just crap random gear I have on one of my leveling toons. Feel like I hit a brick wall with this build, I got it to be pretty tanky and I can even survive t16 whisped maps and tank through some crazy mobs, but my DPS feels lacking. POB Linked below, looking for suggestions on how to take it farther from here. Have about 30-40 Div liquiid for upgrades, but I feel like itll take more than that to pump the damage up. Getting all charges beyond 11 seems prohibitively expensive. Is this just sort of the nature of this build, am I missing something super obvious? I started the league off with Aer0 cobra lash build and I'm barely in to maps but it is feeling just really awful. Mapping is just really painful. Cannot even attempt Affliction stuff because especially my single-target is abysmal. I know I'm missing uber lab and only have 4 link and shit gear etc. but I've played enough of this game I know something is seriously wrong and getting a few small upgrades is not gonna cut it. !Not a serious build! Just experimenting with Poet's Pen and Frostblink of Wintery Blast. This "build" was the first idea that came to mind when the skillgem info was released.Since Frostblink of Wintery blast has no cooldown, and no charges (but a hefty cast time with no "instant" use), it is really beneficial to trigger it. Whether it's traps (I saw Waggle experimenting with that) or Asenath's Chant, or simply Poet's Pen. While Asenath's Chant and Poet's Pen add a cooldown, we can reduce it in a few ways: 1. Haste watcher's eye - 40% 2. Boots - \~30% 3. Badge of the Brotherhood - from 70
