PoE Vaal Smite, Melee builds

Long story short, I lost a bet to a friend while we were on a bender, and being poe degenerates we are, the result was that I need to come up with a build, which is in a title (elementalist, with leap slam as a main skill, using ignite). Today, I present to you this abomination, a child, conceived in love and constant misery. I scrapped whatever gear and currency I could from my previous characters and here it is. Leap slam is a main clear tool, vaal smite/smite is used as a emergency damage button and dps bump for bosses; for the curses I use selfcast Flammability and Alchemist Mark-On-Hit.

I have been playing Doryani Prototype smite and had an absolute blast of a league. &x200B; But I think its time to transition and make up my own shit and have some fun, and the main downside of Armour Stacking is dealing with mana siphoner. By switching from Doryani to original sin, I can avoid that downside altogether (with the loss of like 75% dps) &x200B; But I figure, I don't need 100m dps to map so this should work in theory, but something I havent considered is if its even worth using smite at all as my main attack. Hi - I wanted to post this because I know a lot of people are having issues finishing this challenge due to the extreme RNG of finding the major boons and afflictions. IMPORTANT NOTE - you MUST stay within 10 levels (level 33) for Sanctums to spawn in the zone. If you level past 33, get a delevel book (scouring/scroll of wisdom vendor recipe) Budget - you will need around 140c to get the items for this (Astramentis ~30c, One With Nothing 40c, Seven League Step 55c, Tabula 8c, Darkness Enthroned 1c, Le Heup 1c, abyss jewels 5-10c) Strategy - the st
