-------IMPORTANT NOTES-------- THIS BUILD IS NOT NEW PLAYER FRIENDLY FOR LEAGUE START, IF YOU ARE NOT COMFORTABLE WITH THE GAME I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUILD FOR STARTING - START AS TOXIC RAIN AND RESPEC LATER, CHECK ZIZ'S GUIDE FOR A GOOD REFERENCE You can swap to blade blast as soon as blood aquaduct if you really want to (make sure you have 100% poison chance), but HIGHLY recommend getting around 40-50% cast speed on gear first and essence of insanity gloves + source of onslaught Keep blade fall at lvl 1 for mana cost and spell cascade at level 1 in your blade fall setup (it gives you more damage due to less blade spread) Occultist is still better for softcore You can use the covenant chest piece + mings heart if you want more damage -------Leveling------- Level with toxic rain + caustic arrow until maps ===SWAPPING TO BLADE BLAST AT MAPS=== THIS IS NOT RECOMMENDED BUT IF YOU REALLY REALLY WANT TO USE BLADE BLAST EARLY IN MAPS HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL NEED: 1. 100% chance to poison (use chance to poison support gem) 2. Onslaught Flask 3. Make sure your plague bearer is leveled up --------Gear-------- Wand Step 1: Get low level wands from act 1 vendor (ilvl 12 or 13) to get an easy +1 phys roll with chaos dot multi with harvest phys / chaos reroll / roll with essence of misery Shield Essences until you get good life with spell suppression OR DAWNBREAKER Helmet Essences until you get good life + open suffix for ailment duration craft (random helm syndicate unveil) Body Armour LOATHING essence until good life + suppression + open prefix for phys taken as fire grav veiled mod OR COVENANT Gloves INSANITY essence until you get good life / suppression, then roll chance to poison with eldritch currency Boots Essences til life + suppression, open prefix for onslaught movement speed craft Amulet Not really an easy way to craft a +1 amulet, just look for cast speed / +gems / dot multi and life on amulets can use essence of rage or sorrow or something Shaper Ring Harvest life rerolls until life + life gain on spell hit.
