Since the damage on manabond is based on current mana, not mana spent, I've theorycrafted a hiero build based on reducing mana cost of skills as much as possible, which should allow us to control the AOE/damage by controlling our mana. With 9k mana and Pledge, Manabond will cost 4000 mana without any reduced costs. Was talking to someone in the poe subreddit about Lightning Warp today, and tinkering around with a LW build gave me ideas for another build. Introducing, the CWDT 50% MoM Hierophant. We use Tempest Shield and get a ton of block via Glancing Blows and some good block nodes. Sports around 1.2k mana regen. Normally CWDT would be pretty worthless on a block build, but thanks to Glancing Blows, we take half the damage we block, meaning we can still reliably trigger our spells.
