PoE Alpha's Howl, Minion builds

So this was a build i played in the past and it seems like the numbers are still good. The main thing i found was the massive amount of defence in the build. The build would use items like alphas howl Prism Guardian shavs Ashes of the Stars I think with really high investment you could drop prism guardian and shavs and go CI but that seems really high end gear. Right now I'm playing a life-based SO spectre build and want to transition into something more highend, I made this pob but honestly unsure if it's worth going for because most likely crafting and acquiring all gear would be done in 50ex, which is all my currency.
