After finishing my first build and wracking my brain trying to figure out what to play next I re-read the patch notes looking for anything that popped out. The ignite changes are what prompted my first build, but the changes to Scorching Ray and Searing bond really caught my eye. Yes EE is effectively dead for these skills, and EO is literally dead (they can't hit therefore can't crit whatsoever), but their base damages were raised so enormously (exactly 58% more for both) that it doesn't even matter. Here is my final version of Cold Shockwave Totem! ~5k EHP, not super tanky, but with safe totem playtyle + MoM + the totem mastery that makes them take 5% of the damage, it should be good enough! Damage wise: 4.4M sDPS at lvl 95! the max i could get on an achievable gear! Thoughts Pros \-Decent Damage/Clear \-Very good EHP (Block) \-Simple gear choices (Uniques everywhere lol) \-Budget 10ish ex? Clusters easy to craft. Watchers Eye 2ex Cons \-Chaos bosses can kill you if not careful \-Slow ES sustain, if a lot of damage goes through block you die \-Low physical Resistance, can be one shotted by big phys hits. \-DPS listed is not accurate, probably more like 25-40% less depending on Manapool, easily stays below 50% though.

tldr: molten shell go boom for \~2M dps, generally invincible, and maximum jank I discovered an interesting interaction with Power of Purpose (PoP) awhile back, namely that any "Gain maximum mana as extra maximum energy shield" modifiers actually use the pre-conversion maximum mana (verified in game). This means mana stacking gives us both armour and energy shield. However, I couldn't figure out how to get reasonable damage out of the build... until this patch!
