PoE Chaos Inoculation, Witch builds with custom stat filters

Hello everyone, I have been playing FR CI for a good portion of this league but am still learning a lot in regards to PoB and Poeninja. With this said I do not understand two things in this regard and was wondering if someone could help explain these in-depth to me. 1) Why are they playing Bottled Faith? 2) Why are they using Awakened Added Chaos Damage vs Increased Critical Damage? This is my current PoB and I have spent many hours effectively simming these two options. My current thought process is the following:

I have pulled out the cost of my rares from Client.txt and I thought this could be interesting maybe? Usually build guides are pretty vague on costs. I followed mostly this comment in pivoting to CI, my version is forget the zombies they are not required just a nicety, I could squeeze them in because I got insanely lucky when I double corrupted my shield. I've decided that I want to try and get to wave 30 for the first time but every time I get to wave 25-26ish I seem to hit a wall with either getting blow up too quickly or (more commonly) running into a boss that I pretty much can't damage.
