PoE SSF, Chaos builds without Hexblast

So, I basically exclusively play self-made builds that are usually at least somewhat off-meta. Those builds vary widely in their success and often end up failing. However, every once in a while an idea works out. This is looking to be one of those ideas. Non-Reaper bleed minions have been a bit of a "white whale" of mine. I've probably crammed out dozens of PoBs with good enough damage numbers, but they mostly just ended up feeling pretty bad in real gameplay. This one felt pretty nice however. Been trying to put together a self chill self poison build for quite some time (ssf) and I think i have something now. SO. im a bit stupid, and im sure some of these decisions are stupid, i have a few glaring issues, but to preface, im working on finding a jewel to cap my cold res, and im aware my anoint is for dual wield, the build guide from kobe i was following suggested dual wield would be ideal with this anoint but as soon as i go dual wield i turn into a feather, i have 0 defence and just cant progress when im that weak, as fun as the damage is its not worth dropping this shield which has become crucial for my survivability and a bit of a crut

On ssf standard. Wondering if i should create a build around both of these or drop one. Most people I saw on ninja were only running one or the other. If I run both i am thinking about putting an aura set up in staff for lvl 7 enlighten. With both I hit dot cap rather easily, but I might struggle with defences a bit. I want this to be a bosser. So mainly wondering how i fit in more defence. Main things i can think of is purity watchers eye and progenesis. POB (Just something I threw together quickly, needs a few more things) &x200B;
