PoE Assassin, Despair builds

League started this build as Cobra Lash for the first weekend, switching to Tornado Shot when I got a Voltaxic Rift for 3div. This is a really good low-effort mapper and aesthetically pleasing to me. So, about 2 days ago started brewing this one, then trew it in a bin and then saw buff to ungils. Pob is a proof of a concept and it does proof something. Maybe that i really should just play deadeye or pathfinder. There a lot to optimize, but this at least looks like a start. So, I was messing around youtube, and did not find any build using storm secrets. So i began messing around in POB i got this. Defences are shit, so any suggestions on how to be more than a wet noodle or any other changes. I'm levelling this build atm, so for now it's just a theorycraft. Asenath's Gentle Touch is cheap AF this league and makes PBV insane ATM for farming T16s. Ming's Heart + chaos catalyst is crazy damage for phys poison builds. Obliteration is also pretty crazy. Arcanist Brand BFBB makes the build's bossing much more acceptable for dumb fights, and is a moderate investment gear swap. The tree is set up for fast shield charging + QoL things like big AoE for mapping, inc. skill duration, unleash seals, charge on kill, etc. Despite all of this it absolutely slaps damage-wise. Ventrua had put out a poison BV occultist for league start but I also like to play Assassin and it's more point efficient (though potentially still worse than Occultist), so I thought I'd share my work. All of these PoBs are built on top of Ventrua's PoB. These builds will focus on incorporating alternatives to Profane Bloom as a priority. Took a Poison Spec Helix build from poe ninja and converted it into a possible league start. I like the idea of utilizing blind, elusive, and the crit swift affliction. Looking for feedback on how to make this a bit tankier.

I don't know if there's much new with this but I put together an assassin stacking flat chaos dmg on gear and chaos dmg % and multi on the tree. It takes Perfect Agony. In my own testing I found just putting the attack skill in the 6l to be mandatory for clear, and my DPS is about 2m with pretty shit gear.
