PoE Shadow, Melee builds

PoB: T16: So I made a Molten Strike Assassin with about 1-2 div investment that relies on Mantra of Flames buff stacks (which have to be edited into PoB) and specifically fortify (which gives 100 buffs regardless of cap), multiplied by Replica Last Resort. Damage is ok (1.4m melee dps and 1m per ball with 6 balls that are slowed to hit a single target well). At lvl 91 it can do T16s comfortably (with essesnces/strongboxes and harbingers on my tree not causing too much of an issue) and Maven Atlas Invitations, I haven't tested it on

So this is not a build showcase, it's a work in progress, I'm looking for feedback on how to make the character more powerful without heavy investment - I'm a casual player so I can sink a few more divines in at most. Basically the idea is to do the Snakebite/Frenzy stacking thing, but go crit poison because Emperor's Vigilance, Seething Fury give a ton of extra crit multi, kind of like the Nightblade poison builds. I'm also getting a bunch of crit chance from self-blind with Second Sight Keystone, good synergy because you don't need a high dps weapon since your shield is doing all your damage

Above is a rough day 1 plan for my LS Trickster. I'm going the full armor/ev route because it's easier to get eHP early on, especially vs phys damage, and it also allows me to grab 13 different masteries that synergize with the build. I know Heartstopper is a controversial node, but I feel like it will smooth out the damage I'm taking, even if I don't always notice it or run into some bad rng. Any advice? I realize Champion does armor/ev LS better probably, but I'm really looking forward to trying out Trickster.
