PoE 3.23 Affliction Chieftain, League Starter builds

Hello Everyone, I do not normally create my own builds and only tend to follow build guides. However, this last league proved that I can be in a situation where I don't enjoy any of the build guides being created (i.e. they are focused on what I consider to be a boring meta strategy - MF on Abyss - or they are just not interesting skills to me). Heyo, typical AFK abyss abusing MF chieftain here, Pob for no reason: I wanted to ask how i can get away with increasing my single target via removing my MF gear (ring, boots, gloves, chest) so i can participate in some of the challenges that involve killing a boss or simu or heist or whatever, Simply swapping mf peices for rares or uniques and adding in (insert single target skill here) in these peices and call it a day doing enough dps to clear bosses, Was considering penance brand since thats what all the fuss is about on a cloak of flame or maybe bodyswap?
