PoE Duelist builds without Flicker Strike

i had this idea i don't know if it is viable tho. the idea is to apply bone offering at full value so that i can heal +500 life on block, reaching 75% attack block / 68% spell block via glancing blows while using a 2handed axe, and use scold's bridle to self hit me while channeling cyclone, so that i can keep on triggering vengueance. I decided to go gladiator because of the double damage with counters. any idea on how to continue with the build?

Build concept: using Icefang Orbit or Venopuncture with winterweave and The Golden Rule to self chill ourselves, and then we scale the chill effect with Olesya's Delight's affliction charges \[8% more effect of non-damaging ailment per affliction charge\].
