LEVELING NOTES Guide by animeprincess https://www.twitch.tv/animeprincess https://www.youtube.com/@anime.princess PLAYSTYLE NOTES: I personally level Spark like a pseudo melee skill for the campaign and in pre-map heisting. If you watch my leaguestart practice run (2nd video in the Spark playlist), you will see how I leapslam almost inside a pack of enemies before I drop the OOS + Spark combo and blow them up from the inside. We do not need any projectile speed during the campaign due to this playstyle, and can instead stack pure damage links over relying on Faster Proj Support. We can continue this playstyle into early maps with the use of a Singularity unique sceptre, which provides massive damage but only to nearby enemies. At some point, we will need to make the decision to swap on Faster Projectiles support, and hopefully soon after get the Trigger helmet craft. At this point we will play Spark the more standard way as a ranged skill that can blast stuff offscreen. This should happen after the campaign and after you make a bit of money via early heist. -----------Regex for Tarkleigh---------------------- This string searches for movement speed boots and BBB BBG 3 links from the vendor b-b-g|b-[bg]-b|g-b-b|nne|rint|derha|s:.+sc ------------------ACT1 ranger start------------------- -Start with a Ranger, to mule Momentum, Pierce, and Sniper's mark to our Templar character. -We will need to go thru The Coast and into Tidal Island to kill Hailrake boss, for Pierce as a quest reward. -Breaking Some Eggs quest in the Mudflats will give Snipers Mark as a quest reward. Place these 3 gems in your stash and go back to character select to create a Templar. You will not have to enter queue again don't worry. -----------------------ACT1 templar------------------- -Favor using sceptre over wand, to enable Leapslam from Act 2 onwards Spark - Pierce - Added Lightning (B-B-G) Frostblink - Arcane Surge (B-B) [leave arcane surge at low level (right click it to disable level ups)] Frostbomb (B) [cast into packs as you frostblink thru them] Sniper's Mark Holy Flame Totem (R) [regen + extra damage, used for bosses] Flame wall (Optional) (B) [used for bosses] Orb of Storms (Optional) (B) [used for bosses] Clarity (B) Leap slam - Momentum (R-G) [this is our main movement skill once we get it] ------------------------ACT2---------------------------- Favor 'Heavy Belt' for its strength implicit [Bandits: Help Alira] Herald of Thunder (B) Herald of Ice (G) ------------------------ACT3---------------------------- Favor Jade Amulet from Quest Reward for the dex implicit [Notes: In temple of Lunaris, you unlock the prefix craft 'lightning damage to spells', which you can craft onto sceptres for more damage] Spark - Pierce - Added Lightning Damage - Inspiration (library) (B-B-G-R) Orb of Storms - Innervate (library) - Ice Bite (library) (B-B-G) [stand inside OOS and cast spark, in order to generate Frenzy charges and freeze enemies][we can drop Frostbomb and Flame Wall] Leap slam - Faster Attacks (library) (R-G) [Faster attacks is slightly faster than momentum. If you have space for 3 sockets, feel free to use Momentum as well as Faster Attacks for a really fast moveskill] Determination (library) [drop Clarity. You should be able to fully sustain spark if you have Inspiration. If you don't have a 4L yet, keep a mana flask handy] ------------------------ACT4---------------------------- You can drop Added Lightning for Spell Echo at the end of Act 4. This is an optional gemswap, which gives us SLIGHTLY MORE damage at the expense of SLIGHTLY LESS mobility (because we can't move until our second cast finishes). This is entirely personal preference. ------------------------ACT5---------------------------- Sigil of Power (Used in maps later) [stand inside the aoe for bosses] ------------------------ACT6---------------------------- Cap your elemental resistances right now. Teleport to your hideout and manually craft resistances onto all open suffixes via the crafting bench. If you are dying it is due to your res not being at 75%] Tornado (Used in maps laterl) [used for bossing] ------------------------ACT7--------------------------- [Notes: After Completing cruel lab and speccing into the Sovereignty passive, you should drop Herald of Thunder for Zealotry.] Zealotry -------------------Shield Swap---------------------- If you find a strong ES based shield with good offensive stats, you can drop a sceptre and use either shield charge or leapslam for your movement skill. If you are swapping to shield charge, this opens up the option to use wands and rune daggers instead of sceptre. Shield Charge - Faster Attacks Flame Dash - Arcane Surge ------------Final Links For Leaving Campaign--------- Spark - Spell Echo - Pierce - Inspiration (B-B-G-R) Orb of Storms - Elemental Proliferation - Innervate - Ice Bite (B-B-B-G) Sigil of Power - Tornado Frost Shield Snipers Mark Tempest Shield - Zealotry - Determination [Don't worry about Tempest Shield until you are far into maps. Tempest Shield requires a shield equipped, however early in maps we can use double Sceptres for more damage] Leap Slam - Faster Attacks [Shield Charge instead of leap slam after we add in Tempest Shield] Flame Dash - Arcane Surge Steelskin [Use on leftclick instead of move] -----------------Skill Tree Swap into Crit--------------- Throughout the entire leveling process, we have specced into the Elemental Overload Keystone This is strong and can carry us past leveling and even through early maps if we want. Remember to unspec BOTH of these points when you decide to swap to the endgame crit tree. By the time you're doing uber lab, you should probably be swapped over. I would NOT switch before 3rd lab or before having at least a 5 link. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!*NOTE* When you hit maps and start capturing Pantheon Bosses, please note that if you capture Merveil for Brine King, you will NOT be able to self-chill later.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOW THAT YOU HAVE HIT MAPS THE NEXT STEP IS IN THIS PLAYLIST, WHICH IS ORDERED FOR YOU TO WATCH CHRONOLOGICALLY. PLEASE IGNORE THE VIDEO RELEASE DATES, AS I HAVE BEEN MAKING SPARK GUIDES FOR OVER A YEAR AND SOME CONTENT IS EVERGREEN AND DOES NOT NEED TO BE REMADE: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLGPotsSEuoQHojDFcXXlg66wxd0VZClLp /end
