PoE Crucible 3.21 Boneshatter Jugg SSF Day 4 (Final) Update - Uber Elder, Formed, 7-link weapon?!

Leveling Notes - Splitting Steel -> Sunder -> Boneshatter - Leveling tree progression is something like this: 1. Take all the life, damage, and res nodes at the start 2. Get Tribal Fury around 1st lab (Untiring). With Untiring and Tribal Fury, you can switch to Boneshatter. 3. Get Hatchet Master for onslaught on kill 4. Go all the way to precise technique 5. Fill out rest of tree in any order you want Boneshatter Link Priority 1. Boneshatter 2. Close Combat - gives clear speed 3. Fortify - gives fortify 4a. Impale - gives huge damage multiplier early on; remove this gem once you take the impale nodes on the tree 4b. Brutality - gives consistent damage without any downside 5. Melee Physical Damage - gives good damage, but it's low on the list because of the less attack speed 6. Ruthless - gives good damage, intimidate, and stuns on tankier enemies. I use this last because it's least consistent gem, only doing anything every 3rd hit. Other random stuff - Recoup is nice if you can get it, but I personally found it suboptimal to get, because you'd have to sacrifice damage or HP to get it. But every 25% recoup is like, an additional 1000 life gained over 1 second. Maths: On boneshatter, you might receive 4000 self-damage per second. So, 100% recoup would give you 4000 life gained over 4 seconds. Recouping over 4 seconds then gives you 4000 life gained per second. - You can also get % impale chance on weapon (%phys + impale chance betrayal mod). this is really good early on, but in the endgame it's more optimal to craft a weapon with pure %phys cuz it gives higher PDPS.)
