I've been wanting to try self cast since the cast speed changes, and I guess this is the league to try it with trickster. I wanted to abuse Polymath as much as possible so I focused on the right side of the tree and got 12 different masteries allocated (36% more dmg). Basically the entire ascendancy is put in through the custom modifiers on the config tab (apart from escape artist that was in the old trickster as well). I play only SSF so Hyrri's Ire is a bit of a reach but even without it it looks pretty good. I didn't include the recovery on kill parts of Polymath so I just assume mapping will be a breeze and bossing will take some adjusting.

I stole a bunch of gear that looked achievable from others on poe.ninja. Gear is very basic and the dps seems to leave a lot of room for adjusting. Mana will probably be a bitch, but we'll deal.

I chose blazing salvo because it looks cool. The tree doesn't commit that heavily to any single type of dmg so I might end up trying a few different skills. Planning on leveling up with arma brand and going from there.
