Hello my good exiles,

I, like many other Shadow fans, have been drooling over the new Trickster while at the same time, struggling to find a good build that could utilize its defensive layers.

After a lot of deliberation, I've settled on giving Blazing Salvo Miner a try, but it just feels way too bad to do Trickster without utilizing that tasty Soul Drinker.

So, I thought about Machina Mitts Unique Gloves and Ghost Reaver (I know, I know, but hear me out).

So; using the above interaction, combined with Energy Leech support and LL Pain Attunement, nets us quite a nice dps boost, with amazing defensive layers. (POB shows ~2mil Pinnacle dps - only custom modifiers are 27% more damage to account for Polymath, and ~12% from buffs to Blazing Salvo in 3.19)

The idea I had in mind: League Start as Saboteur Miner until I have enough currency to transition to LL (Some decent EV/ES body) then switch to Trickster for endgame mapping/bossing.

Trickster vs. Sabo:

Easily, Sabo wins in damage, and has decent defensive layers from Born in the Shadows.

Trickster has okay dps (Mainly Polymath), but great sustain and defensive layers. I actually also plan to take Heartstopper to help with Petrified Blood (Quite a nice synergy here).

I play Sabo almost every league, so I want to give this one a try. Worst case scenario, it doesn't work and I switch back to Sabo with literally any trap/mine.

At the end of all this - I think I'm looking for mainly two things:

• Am I just mad and missing something very clear? Will this meme be absolutely horrible?

• In case I'm not mad, any feedback about the tree, itemization, etc. would be greatly appreciated. I'm only a casual player, so any help here would be amazing.

Bonus question: Is Hearstopper with Petrified Blood worth it? Or is Swift Killer for +2 Frenzy charges just better?
