PoE Ashes of the Stars, Mageblood builds

Hello everyone, I have been playing FR CI for a good portion of this league but am still learning a lot in regards to PoB and Poeninja. With this said I do not understand two things in this regard and was wondering if someone could help explain these in-depth to me. 1) Why are they playing Bottled Faith? 2) Why are they using Awakened Added Chaos Damage vs Increased Critical Damage? This is my current PoB and I have spent many hours effectively simming these two options. My current thought process is the following:

Good evening PoEBuilds, I have been farming like mad and finally made a champ sparker. I recently got its gear together, but something feels terrible off. Hello, I've seen a lot of folks trying to make a CoC FR and I want to share some knowledge about the exact stat values you want to strive for. I think people understand the theory behind how cast on crit works but maybe don't have a mental picture of what that translates to stat requirement wise. So, I was playing around with my EA Ballista. It felt lackluster and I couldn't put my finger on what was wrong with it.
