PoE Elementalist, Witch builds similar to Elementalist with balls: Ball Lightning, Void Sphere, Hydrosphere

Hey guys, been trying to throw together a ball lightning starter on elementalist. I've gotten defensives sorted pretty decently for what I'm planning on using it for. Curious if you guys know of anything I could use to amp up the damage a bit more without sacrificing defense aside from 6 link etc.

This was my build for Sanctum, but reading through the patch notes I see no HUGE reason why this build shouldn't work well in 3.21 (RIP arcane surge, as well as regain mana after every 5th cast and 3% of mana as es masteries). This build focuses on a very spicy interaction that I'm almost certain has been used before, but I can't seem to find any builds using it on PoE ninja. In short, we get our mana costs as high as possible using archmage, and then we take 400% of that mana cost as physical damage with scold's bridle. The hit damage for this is going to be pretty high (6-8k) so we mitigate

Could use Despair or Elemental Weakness. Despair will add a bit of extra chaos damage to the hit and might work better against bosses. Need to figure out how I will get multiple curses out. Witchfire Brew, Bane, Vixen's Entrapment are all options. Probably going with Witchfire Brew though. Could use Flame Wall as an additional damage skill. Support with high Spell Damage Multipliers. Ok, so updated PoB: There is a starter tree and endgame tree, as well as a starter gearset and endgame gearset. For both Starter/Endgame I've replaced Flame Golem with Chaos for Phys reduction, added Enduring Cry, and a CWDT-IC-ID setup for mitigation. We also have the Fire Mastery for regen 2% life on igniting non-ignite enemies, which should help with clear. Increased life from tree on both. Max Block Chance. For Starter we are sitting roughly 1.5M (1.8M w/ Ash) on Sirus. eHP is now 66k Phys, 55K Ele, 9K Chaos. For Endgame 9.
