PoE Trap builds

pob: Overall thoughts on the build: It's pretty tanky but damage is pretty low. PoB says about 1.5M but I have no idea how that translates in terms of actual spec helix dps. Basically a worse version of a Champion Spec Helix build. Suffers from slower clear without explosions or Call of Steel, but bossing is ok. I've done everything but Maven (always mess up memory game lol) and the Feared. I spent quite a while trying to find a build I could shove those new recoup life nodes in. I think I got one. I am a bit worried about attack speed, but other than that it is 100% spell suppression, 50% recoup, big ES leech with some mana and hp on hit/kill. Howdy folks. I've been tooling around with Energy Blade, spectral helix, crit, and gladiator, I cobbled together something moderately ok. As PoB'd it shouldn't be too outrageously expensive to build on leaguestart. It will also use the new Tempest Shield for +25% spellblock so I left some unreserved mana for it. The build is just a rough idea, it is nowhere near min-maxed. But the number seems promising so I decide to share it :) pob with quite endgame gears: dps while focused: 13m x 2 (helix hits twice in close range) Defense: 4.5k life, 46k evasion, 100% spell suppression, +216% ms (with QotF), purity of element for ailment immunity. Hopefully it's enough to survive most of the contents. I generate Endurance/Frenzy/Power charges by using Doedre's Elixir. With the reworked Survival Instincts jewel (50% chance not to consume charges), it should be sustainable. Flat

Made this skeleton (non conversion) build with a friend this morning: EDIT CORRECT LINK: (Level 94) You can fill out the gear with evasion/life base if you wish, weapons and such are all up to you. The usual from rares to cold points. Lost about 10-15% damage from 3.15, but multiple things to make up for it from masteries and new keystones e.g. Ghost Dance. POB: Due to passive tree changes this is just a rough outline of notables and gear without factoring in Mastery for the most part. Reservations assume that Faith and Steel counts for Energy Shield Mastery (for 25% Discipline Efficiency) otherwise drop Tempest Shield or spend a few points for Insightfulness/Unnatural Calm.
