PoE Scold's Bridle, Channelling builds

The POB- Im lvl 91 in game atm, this PoB has lvl 95 which is my goal for this weekend I have been playing PoE for about 2 years casually. Ancestor league was kind to me and I got enough currency from Trials that I was able to fool around with building and crafting for the first time. The idea I had was two parted. 1. Abuse the +3 global defense tattoo's by stretching from the Ranger starting point on the passive tree to make a Cyclone build knowing I can sacrifice the +dex small attribute nodes. 2. Hi Guys, I encountered the following problem and hope somebody can explain me why this fails: Concept: Slayer for overleech Lethal Pride + Tattoo of the Kitava Makanga for 90% Physical damage Reduction Use Scolds Bridle to hit my self Use 15% of Damage Taken from Hits is Leeched as Life during Effect on the flask - First problem the hits I take will be quite small so the leech instances will not cap out and my phys dmg reduction will not hit 90% -Go CI to set the Life pool to 1 -Lifeleech should still be possible due to the slayer overleech POB to th

I've been toying with the idea for a while because I think it would be funny to do, and the 20% life regen is pretty good incentive. So far what I have is a Divine Ire Inquisitor that self hits with scold's bridle and converts that to cold self damage then uses auxium + agnostic + replica reckless defense for a 3 second self freeze and then uses kaom's roots for the ability to move. can someone let me know if the idea is viable???
