Thought you guys might be interested in this rather unusual build. I was looking around for a means to overtake the classic Brutal Lead Sprinkler strength stacking ancestral warchief build. Now that Multistrike works with totems, I thought it might be time for ancestral protectors to be competitive. Thoughts Pros \-Decent Damage/Clear \-Very good EHP (Block) \-Simple gear choices (Uniques everywhere lol) \-Budget 10ish ex? Clusters easy to craft. Watchers Eye 2ex Cons \-Chaos bosses can kill you if not careful \-Slow ES sustain, if a lot of damage goes through block you die \-Low physical Resistance, can be one shotted by big phys hits. \-DPS listed is not accurate, probably more like 25-40% less depending on Manapool, easily stays below 50% though.

tldr: molten shell go boom for \~2M dps, generally invincible, and maximum jank I discovered an interesting interaction with Power of Purpose (PoP) awhile back, namely that any "Gain maximum mana as extra maximum energy shield" modifiers actually use the pre-conversion maximum mana (verified in game). This means mana stacking gives us both armour and energy shield. However, I couldn't figure out how to get reasonable damage out of the build... until this patch! As far as I can tell, fanaticism is clunky and sucks... but the new manabond skill got me thinking that maybe it could be spammed to high heaven using fanatacism. The general premise is that you would play a character with like 10,000 mana and get 1500 base lightning for manabond when all your mana is gone and you use the skill. At this point it seems like you would use archmage... but what if you didn’t? What if you somehow got all your mana gone and then spammed the skill super fast with no mana cost at all?
