PoE Occultist, Chaos builds with custom stat filters

Hello everyone, I have been playing FR CI for a good portion of this league but am still learning a lot in regards to PoB and Poeninja. With this said I do not understand two things in this regard and was wondering if someone could help explain these in-depth to me. 1) Why are they playing Bottled Faith? 2) Why are they using Awakened Added Chaos Damage vs Increased Critical Damage? This is my current PoB and I have spent many hours effectively simming these two options. My current thought process is the following:

Hello, I've seen a lot of folks trying to make a CoC FR and I want to share some knowledge about the exact stat values you want to strive for. I think people understand the theory behind how cast on crit works but maybe don't have a mental picture of what that translates to stat requirement wise. I know there are many excellent guides out there and I would defer to them where possible. I want to crunch some numbers for you guys to digest but I apologize in advance for any inaccurate information (feedback welcome). &x200B; I just want to make it clear: I'm not saying these stats are

This is my DO build this league: Estimated budget: 10 ex (probably less now) Damage : 500k aura farming DPS (a fairly conservative estimate) and there is also level 26 Vaal Blight (20 from gem, +5 from level 3 empower and +1 from level 2 awakened void manipulation) for more damage. Bossing beyond regular red map bosses is still uncomfortable , but those it handles quite well. Defenses : the build runs 5 defensive auras (including 2 curses) and 3-slot Molten Shell. \~27k armor without flask, 38k armor with flask (7.2 se

Hey guys, I just finished trying to pob something I've wanted to play for a while now. CI Death's Oath with melding + aegis. POB: The idea here was to go CI to counter the chaos damage from Death's Oath, but through pretty much random nodes I ended up getting a ton of chaos res anyway. And then, because I intended to play CI, I thought I might as well just go for aegis + melding + very high block(Glancing Blows) because that proved incredibly good on my phantasmal cremation necro. &x200B; Now, this build is pretty much bu

Whats up :) &x200B; A few days ago I posted about my attempt of using melding of the flesh and aegis aurora to get very tanky on a forbidden rite occultist, using coc to get some decent damage, and I am finally done with my build. After about 150ish ex investment, + mageblood (which I think you can replace, although it is absolutely a loss in power; not enough to kill the underlying principles of the build though) I am now sitting at about 160k max hit taken, 6k es, 90 all res, 90k armor, 20 million sirus dps while dying sun is up, and am very happy with the build. Because a ton of peop
