PoE 3.16 - Lightning Strike Raider - A9 Build Showcase - (Gearing, guide, info in description)

PoB: https://pastebin.com/tD0sT9AA LS Raider is a pretty popular build that scales nicely with a good weapon that can make use of trinity. The overall build allows you to spec several defensive layers as well as is viable using several ascendancies. I picked raider for frenzy stacking and decided to all in on spell suppression/evasion. While this build is not a glass cannon, it is no tank with my setup. You can spec into more armour and use determination in place of anger, but this definitely comes at the cost of damage. Overall, it's an insane build for clearing and is solid for bossing. Overall, I invested 20-30ex which includes adjustments and progression. I have cleared everything aside from feared, which I believe the damage is enough for it, but I'm not really needing to at the moment.

Gearing: Weapon Main Hand: Ele DPS Claw - You want at least two of the three elements on the claw, and this will depend on your damage in tooltip for trinity. The quick and clean version of trinity is you want overlapping damage ranges for all three elements, and with lightning, you can stack more since it has such a large range. Attack speed and crit chance on the claw are also crucial, esp the former.

Shield: Life shield w/res - You could run a max frenzy shield if you don't need res, but for the most part, a good defensive shield will take you far.

Helmet: Rare blizzard crown is BiS; you want the 3 target pierce enchant for LS so you can unspec the 3 pierce nodes on the tree. I ran with starkonja's cause I found one cheap relatively early w/ the enchant.

Body Armour: 6L rare w/ attack crit or socketed gem mana cost or both; it is flexible, and the crit is a really nice dmg up. I ran a +2 Belly of the Beast due to cost and the amount of raw life it gave. A +1 curse is also ok, if you can get ele weakness on gloves.

Gloves: Strike skills hit 2 additional targets, then the usual stuff. Culling is an option to add on if you don't want to take the tree nodes. Ele weakness implicit would be the last step but that's far beyond the currency budget.

Boots: Darkray vectors are a strong option whenever you stack frenzy charges. Alternatively, tailwind feels smoother if you don't care about the extra cost or need some other resistances/life.

Amulet: Rare w/ crit multi or flat ele damage, general resistances or life as needed.

Rings: Mark of the elder + assassin's mark rare shaper ring - this setup is a big damage increase, and it is now far cheaper than week 1 of league start.

Belt: Rare stygian if you want a jewel with flat damage or just life/res here. HH/Mageblood are ok too, if you got diamond hands at league start.

Flasks: Panicked Life Flask / Quicksilver flask / silver flask / diamond flask / jade flask - somewhat flexible, you just want capped crit, some damage, and probably a defensive flask.

Unique Jewels: anger watcher's eye if yo want; you need a Lethal pride w/ intimidate - this will both solve our strength problem as well as give us more damage. Mine has 45% crit multi, but it's kinda bad cause LS melee is not always consistent.

Cluster Jewels: 1 large 8 node so we can fit in more

Jewels: Double crit multi or more on these, and you can fill resistances/attributes here if need be.

Playstyle: Setup/Bossing - Ancestral Warchief + Protector - Blood rage - Vaal LS - LS in melee if possible

Clear - Nothing special, just strike away.
