Frostbolt + Grim Pillars Chronomancer build showcase for Path of Exile 2 patch 0.5. This setup uses Runic Ward, trigger gems, and Spellslinger automation to create Grim Pillars, then detonates them with Frostbolt for fast T15 mapping and general endgame bossing.

Important:

Runic Ward is not represented perfectly in the planner links, so check the video item section and footage for those details.

Main setup:

Frostbolt is the main mapping button.

Grim Pillars creates Ice-Crystal pillars with Runic Ward.

Frostbolt collides with those Ice Crystals and triggers the explosions.

Cast on Critical and Cast on Elemental Ailment help automate Grim Pillars.

Spellslinger adds more Grim Pillars into the loop.

For harder maps, I show the Num Lock trick to keep Spellslinger running.

Bosses use Elemental Weakness with Cursed Ground, then the same Frostbolt loop.

Defenses are built around Mind Over Matter, Eldritch Battery, mana recovery, Freeze, Mana Remnants, and Temporal Chains slow.

If you test Comet, Frost Wall, or another Skyfall version, let me know how it feels. I am still experimenting with this setup and there may be better raw damage options, but this version felt extremely smooth for mapping.
