Path of Exile [3.7] FREEZE the LEGION Cast on Crit! CoC Ice Nova/Frostbolt/Freezing Pulse Assassin

overall i wish the build could be a bit tankier but there are some defensive layers at work here that make it able to tackle a decent bit of endgame content. my only real concern is the one shots from larger bosses and things that lower my resistances to unsafe levels.

forgot to mention a couple things:

• using both leap slam and whirling blades linked to fortify and faster attacks for movement. was using endurance charge on melee stun but it was a little inconsistent for my taste.

• flasks are whatever, i'm using a wise oak for penetration but you can use atziri's promise or even more defensive flasks like rumi's. i would keep that diamond flask there, even as assassin you want to be sure you're consistently critting.

• VORTEX is amazing for this build since you can cast it without interrupting cyclone and it interacts with frostbolt in cool ways for greater coverage. it's in a 4L in my boots with bonechill, unbound ailments, and a lvl 7 arcane surge so it procs every time you cast it.

• cooldown recovery speed is a shaped mod on belts. do some research, i've heard a bunch of conflicting information about where you need it to be to push your DPS breakpoints further but it's not necessary.

• i said my build doesn't generate FRENZY charges but i meant ENDURANCE charges. ice bite gives you frenzies if you're hitting mobs.
