limit_break_overdrive's Notes

PLEASE READ THE NOTES AND WATCH THE FULL VIDEO BEFORE ASKING QUESTIONS. I will be more than happy to help either on Twitch or Discord. YouTube Build Guide Link: by limit_break_overdrive ------------------------------------------------------------------- PSA!!!!!!!!! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- TRIBAL FURY is not that useful on Boneshatter, Tribal Fury gives slash damage, which Bonshatter has built in by default with its stun mechanic. You can take it if you really want, but to me this is simply a waste of skill points which we are already tight on. And the mastery for additional target is good, but instead of wasting 5 skill points just for that, we get the stat on gloves through the searing exarch Eldritch implicit. (non vaal strike skills target 1 additional nearby enemy) All damage calculated in the build does not include Berserk, Vaal haste of War Banner, which are all disabled in the gem tab under Only for Bosses, damage burst. You can enable them in the gem tab if you want just to see how much damage it adds. Just keep in mind this will only add the damage for a short period of time, hence why I do not include it in the damage calculation. Number inflation is just stupid. The Red Maps JEWELS Skill Tree goes alongside the JEWELS Equipment set. Switch them both for it to work as intended. (See Video on the Build Guide, link at the top of the notes section) I leave Jewel Sockets empty on purpose! Some people think they need identical jewels for the build to work which is just not true. I instead added them at the bottom of the gear list. I renamded them to explain what their use is. Take what works best in your case. No one will get the same upgrade at the same time so the jewels will help fill holes in the build. Later on you can switch to the JEWELS tree and start using unique jewels. ------------------------------------------------------------------ Brass Dome --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I used to include this item as an option in the build since it is a solid defensive option. It is still good and a viable option so if you love that item, absolutely go for it. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Precise Technique ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Make sure you have more accuracy than maximum life. If you have more maximum life, you lose a lot of damage from Precise Technique. The build will require you get accuracy on your helmet, amulet and or gloves. In the guide, I have a lot on my helmet and amulet, but none on my gloves. You do have so leeway there. However, early on you can also either take fewer life nodes on the tree, or take feller of foes temporarily. 3 points that give damage and accuracy rating. Regarding accuracy, any increased global accuray will help a ton since we get a lot of flat accuracy from strength and just the stat itself. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Weapon -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Main Stats: % increased Physical damage, Flat physical damage attack speed Good complementary stats: + to accuracy rating impale chance (hybrid veiled modifier that gives %physical damage and impale chance) Attack speed while a rare or unique enemy is nearby (stacks with regular attack speed stat on weapon) Chance to deal double damage as a suffix Temporary problem fixing: Strength and int/ crit chance (Only if you really badly need int since crit chance does nothing. Last resort.) ---------------------------------------------------------------- Helmet Crafting ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Reservation Efficiency is needed both on the Eldritch Implicit and the helmet itself. Essence of Loathing gives you the stat on the item. Once crafted, then add the implicit using Eater of Worlds Eldritch Currency. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Endurance Charges ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ We get 1 from the ascendancy and 3 from the skill tree. So we end up with 7 fairly easily. Endurance charge on Melee Stun starts to overtake other support gems at 8 Enduracnce charges. You can get 1 from Boots. Either from corruption or from the Warlord modifier, which is quite rare. The Eldritch Implicits on Boots are not the greatest so I do recommence to make the switch for an additional Endurance Charge eventually. You can also get 1 from the axe. Either from a Synthesis Implicit of from a Shaper Suffix. You can use a Shaper Exalted orb after crafting the axe and get it. Although not guaranteed, it is not that rare either. You can Also get some on Rings. Kaom's Heart is easy to get but the item itself kinda sucks. It is a good temporary item. It gives barely any life, no damage or resistances. Maybe with a useful corruption (all elemental resistances for example, then it would be alright, although not my pick) There is also synthesis implicits that give +1 maximum endurance charge. Extremeley expensive and unrealistic, unless you go with a circle of guilt. Precursor's emblem can also provide you with it, but probably expensive as they come from Delve by selving 3 rings (1 meadow, mountain and valley) ---------------------------------------------------------------- Pantheon ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Minor God: Tukohama. Physical damage mitigation and life regen are great stats for the build. Major God: Lunaris is better overall when mapping since it gives damage mitigation per enemy up to a max. The other stats are somewhat useful. Solaris is the choise for endgame Bosses since it gives damage mitigation when only one enemy is present. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Annointments -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Since this patch we get a new Belt base type, which can be annointed, I decided to add this section. Damage: Hatchet Master, Exceptional Performance (Trauma stack duration), Acuity, Finesse, Disciple of the Slaughter, Disciple of the Unyielding Other: Sovereignty, Charisma, Discipline and Training, Constitution, Purity of Flesh -------------------------------------------------------------- Eldritch implicits ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A list of good implicits to get on every piece of gear Body Amrour: EoW: Increased Pride aura effect - Increased Determination Aura Effect Exarch: Increased effect of Non-Curse Auras from your skills - + to All Maximum Resistances Gloves: EoW: Chance to Impale on Hit - Global Accuracy Exarch: Non Vaal Strike Skills Target 1 Additional Nearby Enemy - Attack Speed - Add Flat Physical damage to Attacks - + Max Cold resistance Boots: EoW:Life regen per endurance charge - Increased armour from gloves and helmet Exarch: Increased action speed - increased movement speed - increased damage per endurance charge - + to maximum fire resistance Helmet: EoW: Reduced Mana Cost - Increased Mana Reservation Efficiency - Increased Attack Damage Exarch: Physical damage taken recouped as life (Cold, Fire and Lightning as well but phys is probably best) - Increased Vulnerability Curse Effect - + Maximum Lightning Resistance Eldritch gloves are better than spiked gloves ------------------------------------------------------------ Early Leveling ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Get Ground Slam as you enter Lioneye's Watch. You only get Leap Slam after killing Brutus as a reward from Tarkleigh. Chance to bleed is good early on, especially for Merveil since it prevents her energy shield from regenerating while bleed is going. When entering Merveil's Cavern, Nessa will give you a reward, pick Sunder. Keep Sunder until you switch to Boneshatter. I like Switching as soon as possible but waiting after Normal Lab is fine.
