PATH OF BUILDING CURRENTLY DOESN't SUPPORT HUNTRESS!!!!! THIS IS A HUNTRESS NOT A RANGER EVERYTHING here will change, check out update vids on youtube as they come out for new info! Will update these notes over time. !!ATTENTION!! There are 100 new support Gems as well as new Uniques. Some of those might be REALLY good for you, so look at them as well. If you want to change stuff around now's the time for it. Important Crossbow TIPS: 1) Attack Speed is premium, it increases your reload time as well. 2) Crossbow skills feel A LOT better with WASD in my opinion, but try for yourself. 3) Pob currently doesn't have the updated Passive Tree and it's just a placeholder, here are stats you're looking for: - increased Projectile/Attack/elemental damage - increased attack/skill speed - increased movement speed Once you have the Crit Ascendancy: Ascendancy Order: 1) Critical Strike in the ZiggyD video it looked incredibly, but not sure if it still is when the Patch is live. Take a few accuracy nodes to make this one better. Also, stand next to enemies to get more Crit chance because that increases your accuracy! If this sucks take next option first (idk we'll see) 2/3) Azmeri Brew/ Predatory Instincts This depends on a few things we don't know yet. Can you press your Life Flask as a Mana Flask even if you have full life? Can you have both up at the same time? Depending on the answer, Azmeri Brew could be super cozy in campaign and early Endgame for Mana/Life sustain Predatory Instincts on the other hand, is basically 20%ish more dmg to rares and bosses, which is nothing crazy but solid. Pick whatever you want first, I'll probably go with Azmeri unless I do no dmg. 4) Stalking Panther Might be good earlier as well, depends on how good you are at tracking your gear. Pair this with a full Energy Shield body armour for opness. ------------------------------------------ Leveling: Honestly idk what's best here but this is what I'll do for Day 1: HOWEVER after looking at the changes, I have a feeling that Artillery Ballista and Grenades will help a lot with Crossbows awkward earlygame. You get Artillery Ballista at Lvl 31. Until then, we'll fill out with Lightning Arrow + Lightning Rod on a Bow. You might want a offhand with a Crossbow and Grenades as well, mainly for a boss cooldown to press and get some burst. Remember that the Crossbow offhand needs some strength though, so it might be awkward Lvl 1 to 31 ---------------------------------------------------- Mule: First up, instead of going for Huntress immediately, pick a Ranger, kill the first Boss and get to town. Stash everything you have (all gear all gems). You can also check the vendor for some goodies. Go outside town, grab the campfire chest in the first zone (Clearfell) and get yourself the extra skill gem. Now remake and go for your Huntress. You'll get to town and have all the gear from Ranger + from Huntress for an easy headstart + some extra gold. ---- Lighnting Arrow/Lightning Rod Bow until Lvl 31. Contagion This skill is really good at clearing packs early, until approx. Keep it until lvl 10, use it on an enemy and then kill that enemy, boom! Lightning Arrow + Martial Tempo - Lightning Infusion Lightning Rod + Scattershot + Conc Effect Flame Wall + Spell Cascade With your first Lvl 5 uncut Skill Gem, get Freezing Salvo. It's an incredible cooldown skill, use it for tough bosses whenever you have 12 shards. Freezing Salvo + Hourglass + Glaciation SPIRIT GEM: Herald of Thunder!! Don't forget to activate it Some Tips early: Upgrade your Bow constantly! Cold Res is huge for the Boss in A1, get the charm and maybe a sapphire ring if possible! Prefire Lightning Rod on Bosses, then start attacking with Lightning Arrow. ALWAYS look at crossbows on Vendors, not just bows. This allows you to respec at lvl 31 and have a way smoother time. It also allows you to use the Grenade Setup if you want to. ----- Grenade Setup: Grenades are changed quite a bit. They have higher cooldowns overall but do more damage. Therefore these are great to burst down bosses with a cooldown. In order to use Grenades, you'll need a Crossbow on your offhand, and assign the Grenades to that offhand. You'll also need strength to equip the Crossbow. This needs a bit more micro-management and is therefore better for experienced players! You do not NEED to use this and idk if it's even good LOL Grenades you can use: Explosive Grenade first Flash Grenade possibly second. There are some new supports for Grenades, not 100% sure what to use here, go for smth with dmg LMAO ---- At Lvl 31 THIS IS ALL EXPERIMENTAL AND WILL BE UPDATED ONCE I ACTUALLY PLAYED THE PATCH. THESE ARE ONLY SUGGESTIONS AND WILL MOST LIKELY NOT BE THE BEST SETUP POSSIBLE. Once I'm Crossbows, I'll try some of the newly buffed skills. Test some of the Ammunition yourself. I would highly recommend keeping your Grenade setups and even linking them with some dmg supports Here are the comparisons of old dmg vs new on crossbow skills: https://imgur.com/a/hDChcq4 Your supports depend on what skill and what damage-types you have on your Crossbow: - Lightnin/Fire/Cold Infusion - Scattershot (probably use this on your Grenade though) - Conc Effect/Magnified Effect depending on use-case - Fresh Clip on Skills with a lot of bolts - Fire/Lightning/Cold Penetration - Ammo Conservation - Primal Armament Once you get your first Ascendancy, you can play around with Blindside Support Artillery Ballista: On top of that, use Artillery Ballista to get extra damage. Artillery Ballista + Overabundance + Fire Penetration + Primal Armament/Fire Mastery once you have Tier 3 --- TO BE CONTINUED LMAO GOOD LUCK -----
