-
GSF setup, any bigger trade economy will make much stronger gears more accessible.
-
Earlier parts of the video does not have the mana wheel so I'm always running out of mana.
-
Currently just gonna make this the final version. I don't have much time to play and min-max the build and it's been awhile, but you can min-max from this setup moving forward. This baseline setup is very accessible, outside of some very specific item stats. The gem setup is what I felt like the best that works for me, feel free to swap it around.
-
I did not test the build correctly in PoB it's just for reference: https://pobb.in/tH0VSzTJxfhB
-
Gloves still need some work, I was hoping to run soul tether with it to leech es (phys leech as life + oisin's oath), but leech is just really bad now so I defaulted to just convalescence for es sustain. You may want to run vaal pact if you want to do any sort of life leech otherwise I don't think it's worth to run leech unless you play builds that has big hits (i.e. slams)
Build overview:
-
HC Viable but don't recommend it, it requires a lot of "in and out" gameplay (Shattering Palm + Locus) because you cannot stay in melee range for so long due to taking a lot of damage. If you're playing this in HC you want to sit at 20k ES minimum, which just needs a few more es nodes on the tree and swapping to ES boots instead of the Daggerfoot/Decree of Flight.
-
Avoid maps with increased monster elemental threshold (#1), and cooldown recovery as it reduces the rate your bells proc
-
More attack speed = more damage = more mana cost
-
Curse immune, 50% reduced non-damaging ailment effect
-
Too many buttons to play this build. Don't recommend unless you want to feel like playing an action game or something. You will use 8 or 9 buttons depending on the situation. Regularly will be 3-4.
-
I forgot to show the tattoo runes on the video, Top to Bottom: (Sawaqal's Rune of Memory 2% increased xp), Craiceann's Rune of Warding (50% reduced effect of curses on you, Craiceann's Rune of Recovery (30% increased energy shield recharge rate), Thane Grannell's Rune of Mastery (30% increased magnitude of non-damaging ailments you inflict), Farrul's Rune of the Chase (5% increased Movement Speed)
-
Change the tatoo runes depends on what you want/need.
-
Fix the mana issues with the Idol of Eeshta (in exchange of losing some es), otherwise spend some passive points to get mana efficiency on the skill tree or swap the anoint to get mana efficiency nodes instead.
-
On top of the mana efficiency, leeching with Oisin's oath on ice strike (need the mana leech suffix on glove/ring/weapon), is still insufficient at times so you still need to press your mana pot. It gets worse the more attack speed you get.
-
If you decided not to run mana efficiency or have problems with mana cost, just swap to using normal attack instead of ice strike to leech some mana back. This is just as a last resort, you should always be using ice strike.
-
Using decree of flight for aesthetics and feels a bit better to dodge roll with wings, you can use daggerfoot shoes for eva/es or the highest es base you can get for about 16-17k total es instead of 15k. The guard somewhat helps a bit so you don't need to press convalescence when you're losing ES, from what I observed damage does not bypass guard and won't interrupt your es shield recharge (I could be wrong).
-
Single target and bosses is fine, it needs some ramp due to needing to freeze the bosses but overall decent damage. Swap Tempest Bell support from Ancestral Call II to Elemental Armament II for pinnacle bosses, Ideally you should be placing 3 bells at once with the MA ascendancy nodes but it's inconsistent and feels bugged (?) so swapping out ancestral call for more damage feels better, for general mapping Ancestral Call is good and helps with clear.
-
Ideally have a lot of flat cold damage, and freeze buildup so you can just freeze everything instantly or drop some freeze buildup nodes from the tree. This will unlock another layer of min-maxing once you reached the correct threshold for freeze / buildup. Current snapshot of the build still needs the expedition rune to swap flat damage to cold (which I couldn't find in gsf).
-
If you don't like unset ring , you can just drop war banner/berserk or anything that you may feel unnecessary.
-
Remember when running Berserk that you need at least 1 flat hp regen/second so you don't slowly die from CI. without it you will still have decimals chipping away at your 1 health which doesn't visually show.
I will probably just keep playing this build and make more updates for a few more weeks. But this is the snapshot that is probably the most stable.
