PoE 3.26 Frenzy of Onslaught Slayer guide - Lightning Shako version

How does the build work? Stack frenzy , gain equivalent in Endurance charges. Scale damage with both charges. Frenzy of Onslaught has insane scaling on per frenzy charge. 1 Frenzy charge is roughly 20% Frenzy of onslaught consumes all charges so at the end of the ramp, we lose most of our damage from frenzy scaling and start at the bottom with 1 min Frenzy Charge. We work around this using Ralakesh to set our Frenzies at Maximum always keeping our DPS at peak. This allows us to use Olesyas delight that converts our Frenzy to Affliction charges and provides a +1 charge on top. Affliction charges give us around 104% more ailment effect. this allows us to shock EVERYTHING at 50% regardless. You generate Affliction charges using Frenzy of Onslaught which auto converts it to Affliction because of the belt. The ralakesh nerf nerfed our consistency when it comes to Endurance charge. Will note down below how to generate now and sustain. With all the frenzy charges and scaling brought by Frenzy of Onslaught, we have tons of More damage. We now have to scale increased damage sources Here are some good sources for increased damage: Timeless jewel (per frenzy / endurance charge) - 130% ea Disciple of unyielding and Slaughter - 104% ea Damage while leeching clusters - varies but around 50% and a ton of attack speed Other generic sources And now scaling Flat Damage, we have 2 options. Added Lightning and Ice Bite. Which one to use? For this league, Added Lightning has better value due to Mercs using Doryanis. Other leagues I built this, Ice bite will be better. Lets focus on Lightning this time. Will provide an Ice Bite version to come. The previous recordings on my channel use Ice Bite for reference. You WILL reach attackspeed cap on this build. So scale Crit Multi as much as possible. That settles the damage. How about defenses? We have a good amount of layers including Guard skill (obv) Overleech Some suppress. Can take the Inveterate wheel to semi cap using lucky (I prefer this way rather than reaching 100%. 65-70% suppress with lucky is the sweetspot) 13 Endurance Charges Insta leech and LGOH Sigil of Power in Bossing A bit of evasion Progenesis Arctic Armour Tempest Shield ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ For the Jewel choices and how it affects the build Forbidden set - Permafortify. Can swap with First to strike for Adrenaline and Recover. Get the 5 pt wheel on the tree Sublime Vision - +1 Frenzy. Grace is the only aura. Elegant Hubris - 390% inc damage, 40% crit multi and 80% avoid being chilled. Get Caspiro if you can find one. This allows the use of rational Doctrine Impossible Escape - Allocates the Hubris nodes saving 12 pts (crazy) Rational Doctrine - My favorite Jewel. You need equal STR and INT which is hard to scale running the lower left side of the tree. > We circumvent this limitation using Caspiro. and converting most of our Dexterity nodes using Tattoos. We balance the STR and INT using the cluster jewels (+2 int and +3 Str) Caspiro also removes the need to meet attribute requirements which is a big problem for this build early on. Rational Doctrine gives us - Consecrated ground permanently, (50% reduced curse effect and regen) and Profane Ground (100% inc crit chance and 10% inc curse effect). Light of meaning Chaos Res - Running this jewel at the top nets you around 72% chaos res allowing you to run non chaos res on your gear. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ For the Tattoos and Runecrafts Cap your res and just use enough to maintain the Attribute balance needed for Rational Doctrine Runecraft of Treachery makes our Grace affect the enemies. We nullify this buff with our Claw having Hit's cant be evaded. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Abhorrent Interrogation Applies wither to deal up to 60% more damage but cannot penetrate or Ignore. Doryanis Merc brings the res of enemies to -189 which almost brings the value of Pen to miniscule rates. We scale harder damage using these gloves. Other options for gloves Algor Mortis - Less damage but provides Sap which reduces damage dealt by 20%. Olesyas makes this ailment capped to everyone. You will need to run over and put Arctic armour slow or run Vortex to proc it consistently Admirals +3 - Allows you to swap tincture with Ele damage. Very Expensive and rare +2 Frenzy Gloves - Rare option that allows you to run other mods. +1 Frenzy Synth rare- Significantly lower damage but allows flexibility when capping Res. quite cheap sometimes ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Diallas Vs Shako Shako can actually compete with Dialas at the cost of RMR. Finding a good shako will net you around hundreds of divines which I do not feel the need to pay right now. Why shako? Shako allows you to use a double implicit utulas Hunger giving around +1000 life. You will need to change to a sword or a synthesised claw. All of our uniques do not have Life mods. This will net you around 4500 Life and will allow you to run Petrified blood. feel free to experiment with whichever you can get your hands on. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Since attackspeed cap is an issue for this build, we can swap our amulet with a Simplex with crit and mirrored. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Here are the sources of Frenzy charges for this 13 Frenzy build.
