Gear Cost: 6 Link - 1 Ex Helmet - 5c + Essence Craftin (Greed) Rings - 50c Boots - 80c Paradoxica - 50c Gloves - 70c (1 additional strike) Amulet - Fill in stats + Crit Multi + annoint Sovereignty - Probably around 120c if you annoint yourself Perseverence - 5c THIS BELT IS MANDATORY Jewels: Vitality Watchers eye - 1.5 ex (Optional but nice quality of life) (Could also go anger crit multi for damage or precision damage all very affordable) Shield 1 ex (just need suppression and ailment avoidance) The Interrogation - 70c Clusters: Cheap Option - Smite the Weak, Feed the Fury + Fuel the fight (Sword or attack damage clusters) - 60c each - 120c Total small clusters - Easy to roll with alts or around 30c each - Total = 90c Cost around 6-7 ex without vitality watchers eye (but I would 100% recommned it as it make sustain so much better). I would personally recommend spending a bit more to get this watchers eye DPS is acceptable and defences are really good Flame dash would go in your empty socket to get out of grasping vines (or whatever it is called now!) On a tight budget 1 additional strike on gloves will work but in juiced mapping and altar farming you ideally want +2, however as the attack has an AoE portion only having +1 strike does not feel as bad as some others skills It appears that it is possible to double hit with Smite when you have additional strikes. It works similar to lightning strike in that you get a little bit of space between you and the enemy so that he is out of range of your melee but in range of the AoE What happens is your melee misses, but the AoE hits and then your additional strike hits the enemy. If you get too close the AoE will not hit the enemy as the AoE cannot hit from the same melee attack The small clusters are pretty in-expensive so look for useful stats on the small nodes like chaos resistance or life ******************************************* Options to look at if shield is too expensive ************************ Drop spell suppression down to 20% on your trade search and take the bigger spell suppression wheel on the right of the tree instead of the smaller one or look to increase spell suppression on other gear
