So I went 1 step further and got it to 90% all elemental resistance, the tree is also neater and more efficient. Unfortunately, that was only possible with investment in gear. Current gear I estimate to be around 50ex total.
90% ele res is 16.67% more mitigation compared to 88% so it was a big deal to me who values survivability. Next thing to do is to save up and invest in DPS gears.
I also have in mind to tank Maven's memory game and Searing Exarch's explosion. Eater of the world's Nuke seems impossible....
