First off, I found this build's original version here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FTvkQ9_kXz4&t=187s&ab_channel=Phoenix
I simply adapted it from there and changed things to fit a scion, like forbidden flesh and flame (Hierophant)
I also did not change a single gem, so some new and stronger options might be available.
The major differences are:
- The original in that video runs an Adorned (129%), which has been nerfed and not worth running here.
- It is an actual hierophant/templar. We are a Scion for Scavenger (more on that below)
- The changes from 3.24 to 3.25.
The rare gear in the PoB are perfect pieces. I have not made this build in game yet, but I am simply adapting it to PoB for the goal of getting close.
The up side to this build so far is how relatively cheap it is. The most expensive unique in it that I have checked prices on is a flask, Bottled Faith at 3-6 div. Second most expensive might be the Watcher's eye at 2-4 div. The rares would obviously be more expensive to get/make, but even taking the boots, gloves, and belt off, the max dps is still 127m. If I continue to take more things off: without rings, it is still 81m. With none of the cobalt jewels, it's still 58m. What this means is you can still make a very high damage version of this without perfect gear.
Don't get me wrong here, there are still some hard to find/possibly expensive items like the Timeless Jewel, but it is definitely way cheaper than the other insane dex/mana stacking crap out there right now.
All I can say now is I hope that this doesn't blow up and become some crazy thing. I don't want the price of the gear to become expensive as hell because of this. I doubt that would happen from some random redditor like me, but it is not impossible..
