I wanted to try a new build this league and the new chieftain. It's clear that the new chieftain should use the two fire resistance nodes so for this build we will stack a lot of fire resistance. By that we will have 90% elemental maximum resistances. In addition, we will use the mod: "Armour is increased by Overcapped Fire Resistance" first on a formless flame helmet and eventually on a grasping mail to gain a lot of armour and physical mitigation. I know, it's a long title so I'll explain. The idea of the build is stacking as much as possible fire resistance to get 90 max all elemental resistances with the new chieftain nodes. In addition, we will transform the overcapped fire resistance to armour increase using The formless flame helmet (later on maybe the grasping mail mod). Transforming most of the physical damage taken to elemental (lightning coil + watcher eye mod + taste of hate?) and since we will have at least 400K armour, we will be able to stack many trauma stacks for raw physical damage.
